Crystals, stones, rocks, and gems have always been highly regarded for their healing and spiritual properties as well as their beauty.

Crystal Healing

For thousands of years they have been used for adornment of the rich and for their healing aspects. Crystal healing is developing today throughout the world. Many spiritual seekers and healers are exploring new ways to assist us in restoring our balance in our frantic and stressful lives.

Science continues to search for answers to prove what actually occurs during crystal healing. There are those of us who use crystal and gems in our healing practice and see first hand their benefits. We know the Universal Laws of Vibration and the importance of vibrational matter in our healing of physical, spiritual and emotional bodies. Only by trying out a healing system for ourselves are we able to judge its worth. The energy and nature of a gemstone is a Universal energy.

Crystal Healing

Crystals come from the matter within the earth’s crust, forming from extremely high temperatures and pressures. As cooling occurs the atoms begin to arrange themselves into more stable patterns. This creates an effect of building up regular three-dimensional repeating patters of atoms, that are know to scientists as crystal lattices. The outer shape reflects the inner structure. Whenever they are subjected to outside force, crystals are able to adjust and quickly restore their internal stability. This quality makes them valuable for many areas of technology such as in watches, lasers, and regulating devices in engines.

Crystal Healing

When choosing crystals for your own use or in your healing practice, most are easy to find at a reasonable cost. Small tumbled stones are useful, that are not too heavy when placed on the body nor are too small to get lost easily. Small natural crystals of clear quartz are invaluable. Aspire to gather at least two stones of each spectrum color. 10-12 clear quartz crystals are valuable. Small crystals of amethyst, smoky quartz and citrine are not as common, but well worth adding to your collection. Whether a crystal is perfect and clear or battered and grubby it will have the same internal orderliness and potential for healing and balancing.

The Seed of Life is a symbol for the seven days of creation.
The first step was the creation of the Octahedron. The next step was to spin the shape on its axes. In this way a sphere is formed. Bear in mind that the creator’s consciousness exists within the Sphere, and the only thing that really exists is the membrane of the sphere itself.

The next thing the creator’s consciousness did was to go to the outside surface of the sphere, (the old testament refers to “the spirit of the Creator floating upon the face of the waters“) and creating another using the same process of creating an octahedron and turning it into a sphere. By creating the second sphere the Almighty actually created light. In projecting another converted octahedron into a sphere on the surface of the first sphere, you will get the image of two circles crossing each other in their centers, a shape known as Vesica Pisces. This pattern is a geometrical formula which represents the electromagnetic spectrum of light (for further information how this can be done, check out Drunvalo Melchizedek’s book “The Ancient Secret of The Flower of Life Vol.2“) and the first thing that God created was light - “Let there be light“.

In continuing to duplicate the spheres and creating further Vesica Pisces you will see many aspects of creation driven out of the geometrical structures, emerging out from the vortex motion by this continuous creation of more Vesica Pisces.

Note that here the seven day creation process ends. The Seed of Life is fully formed on the “SHABBAT“, the day of rest. The first vortex is completed and the seed which contains the blue print of the universe is fully formed.

Kyanite

Kyanite, whose name derives from the Greek word kyanos, meaning blue, is a typically blue silicate mineral, commonly found in aluminium-rich metamorphic pegmatites and/or sedimentary rock. Kyanite is a diagnostic mineral of the Blueschist Facies of metamorphic rocks.

Kyanite is a member of the aluminosilicate series, which also includes the polymorph andalusite and the polymorph sillimanite. Kyanite is strongly anisotropic, in that its hardness varies depending on its crystallographic direction. While this is a feature of almost all minerals, in kyanite this anisotropism can be considered an identifying characteristic.

Uses of kyanite

Kyanite is a stone of channeling, altered states, vivid dreams, dream recall, and visualizations. It gives protection during these states. It brings loyalty, honesty and tranquility, and diminishes anger and confusion. Kyanite does not retain negative energy and never needs energetic cleansing. It does align and balance all chakras, often very suddenly. Kyanite can remove energy blockages. Green Kyanite is particularly good for balancing the heart chakra and maintaining heart balance. Blue kyanite is associated with the throat chakra and is a boost to meditation. Black kyanite is also a boost to meditation, and is associated with the root chakra. Black kyanite is also very protective and deflects negativity.

Kyanite

Kyanite is used primarily in refractory and ceramic products, including porcelain plumbing fixtures and dishware. It is also used in electrical insulators and abrasives. Kyanite has been used as a gemstone, though this use is limited by its anisotropism and perfect cleavage. Kyanite is one of the index minerals that are used to estimate the temperature, depth, and pressure at which a rock undergoes metamorphism. Finally, as with most minerals, kyanite is a collector’s mineral.

Alternative names

Kyanite has several alternative names, including disthene, munkrudite and cyanite. White-grey kyanite is also called rhaeticite.

Notes for identification

Kyanite’s elongated, columnar crystals are usually a good first indication of the mineral, as well as its color (when the specimen is blue). Associated minerals are useful as well, especially the presence of the polymorphs or staurolite, which occur frequently with kyanite. However, the most useful characteristic in identifying kyanite is its anisotropism. If one suspects a specimen to be kyanite, verifying that it has two distinctly different hardnesses on perpendicular axes is a key to identification.
